Features

Everything the app does, in about a minute.

SoundHull walks the boat with you, records what you find where you found it, puts an indicative price on it, and seals the result into a record someone else can check.

01 — The guided walk

46 checkpoints, bow to stern, in walking order.

The app takes you round the boat in the order you'd actually walk it, so nothing gets skipped because you were standing somewhere else. Every finding stays tied to the exact zone it was seen in — not a folder of photos you have to explain later.

02 — Photo evidence

Photographs that can't be quietly swapped.

Every photo is fingerprinted with SHA-256 the moment it's captured — not the filename, the pixels. Repairs carry a before and an after, and if either image is substituted after the fact, the record stops matching.

03 — Photo analysis (preview)

Add a photo, get a head start.

SoundHull looks at the picture and suggests what it might be and how serious it looks, then pre-fills the finding for you — one tap to accept. It flags what a camera can see and shows the measurement behind every flag; you stay the judge.

It never marks anything sound on its own, and anything below the surface is handed to a professional rather than called either way.

04 — A price on every finding

Know roughly what it costs before the yard tells you.

All 50 repair types are priced across 4 severities — 200 indicative cost bands — scaled to your boat's size and your region. Every figure is indicative, never a quotation.

When you want a real number, one tap drafts the quotation request letter for the yard, already filled in.

05 — Works with zero signal

Engine room, haul-out yard, mid-Solent.

Boats are the worst places on earth for a data connection, so SoundHull doesn't need one. Capture everything offline and it syncs itself when you're back in range — including two people working the same boat with no signal between them.

06 — The whole crew, the right access

Everyone who touches the boat, and no one else.

Owner, captain, crew, surveyor and yard each get the access their job needs. Clients and brokers get read-only access — they can add photos, and change nothing else.

07 — Reports that prove themselves

Signed, time-stamped, tamper-evident.

Finish an inspection and the report is frozen and signed, with the body, the signer and the signing time all inside one fingerprint. Change one word after signing — or backdate it by a day — and verification fails, for anyone who checks.

08 — The Yacht Health Record

The boat's history, and it outlives you.

Every finding, repair and photograph accumulates into one provable timeline for the hull — not for the owner. When you sell, you hand the next owner a record they can verify themselves instead of a story about how well she's been looked after.
