For servicing & management companies

Your work, documented well enough to bill for it.

SoundHull gives yards and management companies a shared record of every vessel they touch — what was found, what was done, who signed it off, and what it was expected to cost. Fewer arguments, faster invoices, clients who stay.

01 — Prove the work happened

Evidence attached to the job, not to a WhatsApp thread.

Your engineers work in the yard role: they log repair evidence against the exact finding it answers, with before and after photographs fingerprinted at the moment of capture. Neither image can be substituted afterwards without the record noticing.

Close out on that photographic evidence and the owner sees it the moment it's done — so "has anyone actually looked at it?" stops being a phone call, and the invoice goes out against something they can already see.

02 — Every boat in one place

One list, however many hulls you look after.

Each vessel keeps its own findings, work orders and history in a single record, so a boat you serviced two seasons ago opens where you left it. No per-boat spreadsheet, no folder of photos nobody can date.

The owner shares the boat with you in one tap. You see exactly what's assigned to you and nothing else — access is scoped to your role, not to the whole record.

03 — Walk-on, walk-off handovers

The end of "that scratch was already there".

The guided walk takes an engineer round 46 checkpoints bow to stern in walking order, so an intake or handover condition check becomes a twenty-minute routine rather than a judgement call.

It ends in a signed, tamper-evident record with the photographs attached. Change one word after signing and verification fails — which is exactly what makes it worth having when a boat leaves your care.

04 — Quote faster, quote consistently

A defensible starting range before anyone walks down the pontoon.

200 indicative cost bands across 50 repair types, sized by vessel and region, give your front desk a consistent number to open with — the same answer on a Tuesday as on a Friday, whoever picks up the phone. Every figure is indicative and never a quotation; the real number is still yours to give.

And the owner's request arrives as a structured work order — the finding, the zone, the photographs — rather than a voicemail about a noise.

05 — The record that keeps clients

Every season you service her, the file gets thicker.

Inspections and repairs accumulate into the vessel's health record — under your service. The boat you have looked after for six years arrives at a sale with six years of documented work behind it.

A documented boat is a retained client, and a better resale story that you helped write. The owner hands the next one a record they can verify; your name is all over it.

06 — Worth knowing before you ask
  • It works with no signal. In the shed, in the travel hoist bay, on a pontoon with one bar — capture offline and it syncs when the phone is back in range.
  • Client and broker access is read-only. They can add photographs; they cannot change a finding, a severity or a close-out.
  • SoundHull flags what cameras can see and shows the measurement behind every flag — your professionals stay the judges. Anything below the surface is referred for professional confirmation rather than called either way.

Tell us how many boats you look after and how you handle handovers today. We'll show you the same loop on a vessel like the ones on your hardstanding.
