For sole owners & owner-operators

One boat, one pair of hands, no gaps in the record.

Skippered charter, delivery work, an owner-managed boat — when the business is one person, the paperwork is the first thing to slip. SoundHull makes the record a by-product of the walk you were doing anyway.

01 — The solo walk

46 checkpoints, on your own, in twenty minutes.

The app walks you round in the order you'd walk anyway, so nothing gets missed because there was nobody to hold the torch. Dictate the note instead of typing it with cold hands.

Photograph a problem and SoundHull suggests a category and a severity on the spot and pre-fills the finding — one tap to accept. It flags what a camera can see and shows the measurement behind the flag; you confirm, change it, or throw it away.

02 — No second pair of hands

Close a job out honestly when there is nobody to countersign.

A one-person operation cannot produce a second signature, so SoundHull does not pretend otherwise. Close out on before and after photographs, both fingerprinted at capture, and the record says exactly that: app-verified on photographic evidence.

It is never quietly promoted to independently verified. That honesty is what makes it worth something to a broker or a buyer later.

03 — The yard conversation

Arrive with the finding, the photos and a range already in hand.

Walk into the yard office with the finding open: the zone, the pictures, the severity, and an indicative range from the same 200 cost bands the trade sees. You are discussing a job, not describing a noise.

The quote request is generated from the finding itself, so what you send is structured and complete. The real number is still theirs to give.

04 — Clients and brokers as viewers

Show a documented boat without handing over the keys.

Charter clients, a broker, a prospective buyer — share the boat read-only. They see the walks, the repairs and the photographs. They can add a photograph if something happens on their watch; they cannot change a finding or a severity.

It is the difference between saying she is well looked after and letting someone check.

05 — Resale day

The boat's story is the asking price's best defence.

Years of walks, findings and repairs sit in one health record attached to the hull. Every signed report still verifies; change a word of one after the fact and it stops.

A buyer who can check the history themselves argues about the price differently from one who is taking your word for it.
